GladHeart is where I spill my guts about anything and everything that gladdens my heart. It serves not only as a place where I can share my creative adventures, food obsessions, and what's happening in my shop, but also as a reminder to stay positive in this challenging world.
GladHeart Art is my Etsy shop where I sell prints of my hand-painted art work. My mission as an artist is to, once again, reflect the joys in my life through my art. I specialize in hand lettering and floral art. My sentimental heart tends to dictate my artwork resulting in each piece being personal and meaningful. I truly hope that my art will bring happiness to others' lives as it does mine. I am happily married to my favorite person. I am the mother of a set of boy/girl twins and I am pregnant with our third baby (ehem, just one this time). I believe in family. It is the source of my whole happiness. I believe in my religion and am grateful everyday for my faith. I am an Arizona native and love the desert--yet I long for the beach, mountains, and lots of trees on a regular basis. I suffer from an illness called Dance Fever. It strikes most often while shopping in stores or while driving in my car. Art was my first love, but music and singing was definitely a close second. Going out to eat at an Italian restaurant will indefinitely cure my blues (Mr. Handsome Face caught on quick to this one). I have a fear of sea creatures, olives, and being misunderstood. I have a love for almost anything pickled, flowers, and good humor. I believe that the most beautiful things are often times imperfect.
